Colorado Submariners participate in various parades along the Front Range and Grand Junction area, towing a 14’ replica of a World War II era ‘Diesel Boat’. The replica design was from accurate scale-reduction using a copy of original plans of the USS Bowfin (SS-287). Construction is primarily of plywood frames and Styrofoam.

We proudly display her on a specially modified low-bed trailer for towing in the parades. Chief designer and construction leader was Dan Moss (QMC(SS), USN (Ret.).
