Lafayette, Colorado Parade Rocky Mountain Base, USS Grayling float won second place. In attendance were Paul and Sally Schultz, Dave Linker and Beverly Gibson, Mike Munce and Jim Brunemeir. |

Colorado Submariners participate in various parades along the Front Range and Grand Junction area, towing a 14’ replica of a World War II era ‘Diesel Boat’. The replica design was from accurate scale-reduction using a copy of original plans of the USS Bowfin (SS-287). Construction is primarily of plywood frames and Styrofoam. |
